Opening / Visiting hours of prison
- Visit to inmates being held at the Mt. Posee Prison is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only.
- Visits will be by appointment only.
- Visitors residing on Mahe can only visit in the afternoon between 1330hrs & 1530hrs.
- Visitors residing on other islands can only visit in the mornings between 0900hrs & 1200hrs.
- Posee Prison will only be opened for visits on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for convicts and remandees.
- Visitors will have 1 hour with their relatives.

- Visits will be by appointment only.
- Visit on Tuesday started at 0900hrs until 1130hrs.
- Visit on Thursday started at 1300hrs until 1530hrs
- Visitors will have 1 hour with their relatives.
